Killer Bees Acquire Rights to Aaron Boogaard

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, completed their first trade of the season on Wednesday. The Killer Bees have acquired the rights to Aaron Boogaard from the Laredo Bucks in exchange for future considerations.
Boogaard played 53 games with Killer Bees head coach Terry Ruskowski with Bucks last season scoring twice and adding five assists while racking up 172 penalty minutes.
The Killer Bees will face the Laredo Bucks this weekend starting Friday at 7:30 pm. at the Laredo Energy Arena. Fans can follow the game on 956sports.com and via CHL-TV. The Bees return home November 4th hosting the Texas Brahmas and the Tulsa Oilers.
