Kevin Gade Takes Over The Reigns of The Stallions

December 13, 2006 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL)
Springfield Stallions News Release

Springfield's pro indoor football team announced this afternoon that Kevin Gade has been named the new Head Coach of the Springfield Stallions.

Gade replaces former Head Coach Herb Fullerton, who resigned Monday evening due to personal reasons.

Kris Underwood, Owner of the Stallions commented, "Justin and I are very excited to have someone of Kevin's talent and knowledge to take over as head coach. Most teams search for weeks or months to find someone capable of leading their team, but we are very fortunate enough to have someone that is already in our organization step up and fill the void. We were sad to receive Coach Fullerton's resignation, but we are thrilled that Herb will be able to remain a part of our organization."

Gade lives in Springfield with his wife Mindy and their two children, Tyler and Brett. He is employed by the Illinois Secretary of State. Kevin graduated from MacMurray College after a very successful playing career.

The Stallions will begin their inaugural season in the Continental Indoor Football League in 2007. The Stallions will play their home games on Midwest Technical Institute Field inside the Prairie Capital Convention Center. For more information, contact Kris Underwood at the Stallions office at 217-726-2588 or email kunderwood@springfieldstallions.com.
