"I am very grateful for the opportunity to sign with the Wanderers this season," Johnson said. "I have always wanted to play overseas and this organization seems like a great fit. I hope I can contribute to the team in whatever way needed and continue to grow as a player."
Johnson, 23, made 15 appearances during the 2014 season, starting 12 matches and logging 1,123 minutes.
"We are grateful that Kendall will have the opportunity to compete in the W-league with the Western Sydney Wanderers and continue her development," Sky Blue FC technical director and head coach Jim Gabarra said.
