
Kavanagh, Madalon and Runberg Garner the Honors This Week

Boston, MA - Brendan Kavanagh and Chris Madalon have been named the Warrior Players of the Week for Week Five. Kavanagh led the Outlaws to two wins this weekend while Madalon led the Blaze to a road victory over the Chesapeake Bayhawks. Denver Outlaws rookie Zach Runberg was named the Cascade Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Boston Cannons.
Brendan Kavanagh of the Denver Outlaws was named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week. Kavanagh put together a monster weekend scoring seven goals to go along with three assists. The ten points doubled Kavanagh's season total which now sits at 20.
Meanwhile on the defensive end, Atlanta Blaze net-minder Chris Madalon put together yet another brilliant performance. Madalon turned away 19 Bayhawks shot on the night. The 19 saves is the second most by a goalie this season. Madalon holds the top spot when he made 20 saves against the Dallas Rattlers during Week Four.
Denver Outlaws midfielder Zach Runberg was named Cascade Rookie of The Week after scoring the game winning goals in the Outlaws 17-16 win over the Boston Cannons. Runberg, a Colorado native, scored his first career goal with only 20 seconds left on the clock to give the Outlaws their fourth win of the season.
