KATY, TX - The Katy Ruff Riders will be hosting their 2008 Cheerleading Auditions on Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 1PM-5PM. Auditions will be held at Westwood South Gymnastics, Cheer & Dance 23333 Taswell, Katy, TX 77494.
Registration will begin at 1pm and auditions will begin at 2pm. Auditions are closed to the public.
A total of 20-25 ladies will be chosen at auditions for the official Katy Ruff Riders cheerleading team. The selected ladies will perform for all home football games (an average of 7-8 games total) which will be held on Saturdays at the Leonard E. Merrell Center located in Katy, Texas as well as attend two practices a week and make special appearances at several local events throughout the year.

Participants must wear all black dance attire. A black crop top (that shows midriff), black dance shorts, flesh tone tights and black athletic tennis or dance shoes. All participants must arrive to auditions on time, with performance ready hair and makeup, a photo, proof of age (valid driver's license or state ID) & $25 registration fee (cash or money order).
Requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
Participants should be physically fit and have previous cheer or dance experience.
Participants should also bring water & a light lunch and/or snack to auditions.
The Katy Ruff Riders are looking for women ages 18 & up who are both talented and excited about becoming part of the Katy Ruff Riders team. The judges will look for participants who possess lots of energy and those with great personalities.
