Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox News Release

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox have added right handed pitcher, Ben Kaser to the 2018 pitching staff. "We're excited to have Ben come out this season and help him perfect his skills," said VP/GM Michael Mink.

Ben is currently a junior at the Academy of Art University (AAU), where he is studying Multimedia Communications, and will start playing for the Knights this season. He graduated from Grover Cleveland High School where he lettered 4 times and earned the First-Team All-Conference Honors 3 times, as well as the All-State Honors in his senior year.

During his time at La Mission College, Kaser made 17 appearances on the mound for the Eagles with 43.2 innings pitched, 42 strikeouts, and a 4.74 ERA. He recently made AAU history when he used only 57 pitches to throw a 7-inning game-winning no-hitter. He struck out 5 batters and had no walks; Kaser ultimately forced a double play during the last inning to clinch the win.
