Karla David of "The Voice" to Perform at Eagles Game

The Charlotte Eagles is proud to announce Karla Davis performing on Saturday night, July 21, 2012 at Charlotte Christian Stadium. She will sing the National Anthem, perform at halftime and after the game. The Charlotte Eagles host the Wilmington Hammerheads at 7:00 PM.

Karla Davis is a 26 year old singer/songwriter from Monroe, NC. Karla was a top 24 contestant on NBC's hit show "The Voice" season 2.

Karla took a leap of faith in the fall of 2009 when she decided to move to Nashville, TN. In 2010 she was named the winner of the Colgate Country Showdown and given the title "Best New Act in Country Music".

Joining forces with British producer, John Eden and manager, Gabrielle DiMora, Karla formed 3 Chord Entertainment, Inc. Karla has connections with the Charlotte Eagles that stem back to the days of the Eagles Youth Club.

Eagles' General Manager, Tom Engstrom remembers Karla as, "an outstanding soccer player, who was part of the Eagles youth organization for a couple of years."
