Tickets Remain for Saturday's Match Against Los Angeles Galaxy, Presented by M&I Bank
Tickets for the Wizards match this Saturday against the Los Angeles Galaxy remain on sale to the general public. Tickets are available by calling (913) 387-3400, visiting www.kcwizards.com or through any Ticketmaster outlet. The game will be played at 4 p.m. CT at Arrowhead Stadium, and midfielder David Beckham is scheduled to make his first-ever appearance in Kansas City. Lower-bowl tickets cost $30 if purchased in advance. Walk-up prices for lower-bowl seats are $35 on game day.
Game sponsor M&I Bank will provide water bottles to the first 10,000 fans in attendance and partner in a special pre-game food drive with Harvesters. Fans who donate three or more items will receive a limited-edition T-shirt, access to a special M&I Bank VIP tent and be entered to win a seat upgrade. Harvesters will have bins outside each gate, and the special-access tent will be situated outside Gate D.
Prior to the match, former indoor soccer stars will battle at the KC Soccerdome. Former players from Kansas City will face former St. Louis stars at 12 p.m. CT, then sign autographs outside Arrowhead Stadium during pregame festivities. Fans must show a ticket to Saturday's match between the Wizards and Galaxy to see the throw-back game.

Kansas City Wizards Partner with Dick's Sporting Goods for "Shop with a Player" Event
The Kansas City Wizards and Dick's Sporting Goods have teamed up for "Shop with a Player" this Wednesday, September 10, at the Leawood Dick's Sporting Goods location (11801 Nall Ave Leawood, KS 66211). Fifty children participating in Spofford's Strengthening Families Program, a collaboration between Hickman Mills, Center and Grandview school districts, will receive $100 from DSG and get the chance to shop with Wizards players.
Dick's Sporting Goods, a Major League Sponsor since 2007, is putting on similar events with other teams around the League. Participating children will be arranged in groups of five with one Wizards player and one helper assigned to each small group.
Wizards Jerseys Available for Auction to Conclude Community Night Activities
Eighteen autographed, game-worn Wizards jerseys are available for auction at www.kcwizards.com as part of the club's Community Night activities from their 3-2 win over Chivas USA August 9. Proceeds from the sale will benefit five of the Wizards preferred charities and the Kansas City Soccer Foundation, the charitable arm of Wizards ownership group OnGoal.
Jerseys start at $150 or $200, and the auction runs through September 15. Autographed jerseys are available from the following players: Claudio Lopez, Kevin Hartman, Jimmy Conrad, Josh Wolff, Kerry Zavagnin, Sasha Victorine, Davy Arnaud, Kurt Morsink, Jack Jewsbury, Roger Espinoza, Michael Harrington, Chance Myers, Tyson Wahl, Matt Marquess, Aaron Hohlbein, Ivan Trujillo, Nelson Pizarro and Eric Kronberg.
Proceeds will go to the five charities that participated in Community Night on August 9: Autism Speaks, Charlie's Safe Haven, Child Protection Center, Gilda's Club, and Spofford.
The Jimmy Conrad Show Live from McFadden's Wednesday
The Jimmy Conrad Show is back on the air Wednesday for another dose of the latest in soccer news and notes. Conrad and voice of the Wizards Sean Wheelock will host the show live McFadden's in Kansas City's Power and Light District Wednesday, September 10 at 7 p.m. CT. Each week, Conrad and Wheelock will chat with guests from the Wizards and other MLS clubs for the latest from around MLS.

Zona Wizards Airs Live Thursday on La Playa 1480 AM, Time Warner Cable Channel 5
Zona Wizards, the weekly Spanish-language radio and TV show, will air live this Thursday at 2 p.m. on La Playa 1480 AM and Time Warner Cable Channel 5. Hosted by Enrique Morales and Raul Villegas, Zona Wizards will feature a player each week.
Wizards Weekly to Air Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Wizards Weekly, Kansas City's weekly magazine show covering the Wizards will feature Head Coach Curt Onalfo and a player each week. Metro Sports will air Wizards Weekly three times per week.

Starting 11 Girls Help Raise Awareness for National Kidney Foundation

What: The Kansas City Wizards Starting 11 Girls are doing their part to support the National Kidney Foundation through their KC Kidney Champions event at Mosaic.
