"Just A Friend" Visiting The Ice

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice will welcome rapper and D.J. Biz Markie to Pepsi Coliseum on Saturday, January 21st at 7 p.m. as the Ice take on the Green Bay Gamblers.

Biz Markie will be on hand to drop the puck before the game and then will be at the Old National Bank Grand Hall to D.J. after the game from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Fans of all ages may attend the event, but individuals must possess a ticket for the Saturday night game in order to gain admittance to the post-game party.

Concessions will be available to purchase throughout the party, with alcohol being sold from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Bracelets will be distributed to individuals 21 years of age and older.

A native of New York, Biz first came to prominence in the late 1980's with classics such as "Vapors," "Make the Music with Your Mouth, Biz," and the unforgettable "Just a Friend," which skyrocketed to the pop top ten list in 1989. Recently, Biz has turned his talents to the ‘spinning forum' and has become a highly-regarded D.J. in the rap industry.

Tickets for this special night range from $11-$15 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including Karma Records, select L.S.
