
Josh Victorian Earns Riddell Defensive Player of the Week

Los Angeles, CA - The Arena Football League announced today that LA KISS defensive back Josh Victorian (5'10, 190, Louisiana Tech) has been presented with the "Week 6 Riddell Defensive Player of the Week" award for his performance against the Portland Steel last night. This is Victorian's first weekly award of the 2016 season and the third for the LA KISS. Previously, Donovan Morgan earned the Week 1 "Cutters Catch of the Week" and Rayshaun Kizer was awarded with the "Riddell Defensive Player of the Week" in Week 3.
Victorian had a breakout performance, leading the LA KISS defense with nine solo tackles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions, one of which he returned 36 yards for a touchdown. Through the first six games of 2016, the second-year player ranks second on the LA KISS with 22.5 total tackles (20 solo), while adding two interceptions and three pass breakups.
After the Week 7 bye, the LA KISS will travel to Arizona to take on the Rattlers on May 21st at the Talking Stick Arena. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the game will be available to be streamed on ESPN3/WatchESPN.
