Dylan Jones had three RBIs as the Chillicothe Paints (3-5) took home a 5-3 victory over the West Virginia Miners (5-3) at Linda K. Epling Stadium on Friday.
He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.
Nick Delgado reached base four times. He doubled in the seventh inning.
Chris Metrick pitched lights out for the West Virginia Miners. The Chillicothe Paints managed just one hit off of the the West Virginia Miners' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
Michael Houdek recorded his second win of the year for the Chillicothe Paints. He allowed three runs over six innings. Houdek struck out three, walked three and gave up five hits.
Brandon Stuckenschneider was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
