
JetHawks To Host Job Fair On February 21st

(Lancaster, CA) - The Lancaster JetHawks are getting ready for another exciting season of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley and are looking for positive and energetic people who want to be part of making this a memorable season. On Saturday, February 21st, the JetHawks will be holding a job fair to hire approximately 100 seasonal employees for the upcoming 2004 season.
The job fair will take place in the Lancaster JetHawks offices at Lancaster Municipal Stadium, 45116 Valley Central Way, and will begin at 9 a.m and run through approximately to 4 p.m.
Successful applicants will work many of the 70 scheduled home games for the JetHawks during the 2004 season. The home schedule runs from April to September.
The JetHawks will be hiring for both stadium and food/beverage positions. Stadium positions include: ticket takers, ushers, program and souvenir sellers, fun zone and information booth attendants. Along with concession stand servers, food and beverage positions also include waiter and waitresses positions and food preparation.
When attending the job fair, applicants are asked to come in casual business attire, with a resume and be prepared to fill out an application. Interviews will be held throughout the day.
The JetHawks will open the 2004 season at home on Thursday April 8th. The opening eight-game home stand features four games with the High Desert Mavericks and four games against the Lake Elsinore Storm. Great season tickets and mini-plans are currently available.
