JetHawks Annual Youth Baseball Camps Scheduled For June 17 & July 23

(LANCASTER, CA) - Kids throughout the Antelope Valley will have a unique opportunity to get specialized instruction from Boston Red Sox organization professional baseball players at two special camps scheduled for June 17 and July 23. These camps are run by the Lancaster JetHawks, Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, and use JetHawks player and coaches. Past instructors at JetHawks camps include Arizona Diamondbacks star Stephen Drew and Minnesota Twins outfielder John Barnes.

Each camp will last four hours and enrolled campers will receive instruction on various fundamentals of baseball. In addition, there will be individual stations dedicated to hitting, throwing, fielding, and fitness. JetHawks players will oversee each station, offering attention to each child.

In addition to the baseball instruction, each camper will receive a JetHawks Baseball Camp t-shirt, lunch, a ticket to the JetHawks game on the night of the camp, and will get to take part in a special on-field ceremony before the game.

The camps will take place Tuesday, June 17 and Wednesday, July 23 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Clear Channel Stadium. In order to offer highly individual attention to each child, registration will be limited to the first 100 kids who sign up. Registration costs just $50 and the JetHawks will donate $10 of each fee to the child's Youth Baseball League. The registration deadline for the first camp is June 12 and for the second camp is July 18.
