Jersey Express Summer Interns Needed
June 19, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Jersey Express News Release
Madison, NJ. The ABA Jersey Express professional basketball team is looking for additional interns for their Summer Interns Program. This is a great way for both college bound and high school students (over the age of 16) to earn a good summer income and learn what it takes to operate a professional marketing department.
"We have three interns who will be working in the Marketing Department beginning next week and we'd like to bring on at least three more for the summer," stated team co-owner Marsha Blount. "Our Summer Intern in the Community Affairs Department, Samir Sampat, began two weeks ago and already he's making excellent contacts for us to fill our summer schedule. We also would like to have an intern working with us in Public Relations. He or she will be responsible for reaching out to the media, print, radio and TV, and should have good experience in writing press releases, plus excellent communication skills."
Those interested in an opportunity to learn hands on organizational skills should log onto www.jerseyexpress.net or email your resume or bio to info@jerseyexpress.net for immediate consideration.
"Jump on board, it's going to be an amazing ride."
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
