Jersey Express names Official Practice Facility

The Jersey Express Professional Basketball Team, is proud to again call JFK Recreation Center it's "Official" Practice Facility. JFK is located at 211 W. Kinney St., Newark, NJ.
During the inaugural season of the Express, then known as the Newark Express, JFK Recreation Center was then known as the "Official" Practice Facility of the team. Now in its 4th season in the historic American Basketball Association (ABA), the Express, now known as the Jersey Express, have returned to is roots.
"We are excited that we have an opportunity to return to Newark, and continue to build a relationship with the City that welcomed this, then new franchise. We'd like to thank the Honorable Mayor Cory Booker, Manager, Department of Recreation for the City of Newark, Zaid Braswell, and the staff at JFK Recreation Center for welcoming us back. Our Director of Community Affairs, Kirk Quockco has been working extremely hard on maintaining the relationships that were developed in Newark" noted team President Marsha Blount.
Training Camp for the Jersey Express will begin in mid October, and will run thru November 14th, leading up to opening night on Saturday, November 15th. Opening night of training camp will be open to the public.
