Said Express Director of Operations Jeffrey Brown Sr. "We're showing why we are the true team of New Jersey. It's time for us to have a basketball team that we don't have to share with a New York City covering. We are your New Jersey-based team, playing for the people of the Garden State, from Atlantic City to Alpine. We care for our fans, and hope that our fans and local businesses will support New Jersey's team. The Nets are leaving for Brooklyn, but this train is here to stay in New Jersey."

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
