Jersey Express Announce Final Open Tryout

Jersey City, N.J. (Monday, October 10, 2011) - The Jersey Express Professional Basketball Team, announces the FINAL open player tryout. Saturday, October 15th @ 4pm at the Heights Middle School #7, located at 222 Laidlaw Avenue, Jersey City, NJ will be the final opportunity for players to make the cut for training camp.
Joseph Amador returns to the sideline, as lead assistant to Coach Dehere. `I am extremely excited to be presented the opportunity to return to the Jersey Express for a 2nd season. Not only to be aligned with a coaching staff with NBA pedigree, but to have the opportunity to build on last year's successes. Marsha has taken incredible strides to get the franchise to an elite status within the ABA, we have the tools to be a championship caliber team; stated Coach Amador.
Head Coach Terry Dehere, Assistant Coach Joseph Amador, Big Man Coach Luther Wright, and Team Owner Marsha Blount will evaluate talent, to fill the final training camp roster spots. Coach Dehere stated his desire for players who can get up and down the floor! `We can't be named the Express, and walk the ball up the court'. He's calling for ALL of those NJ and Jersey City players to come out, and represent.
The final roster will not be posted, until after the Final open player tryout, and training camp is completed. There are open roster spots to be filled, and players from the tryout, will be invited to camp. The Final tryout will be held October 15th, 2011, at 4pm at Heights Middle School #7, 222 Laidlaw Avenue, Jersey City, NJ.
