Jersey begins rivalry with NYC Sunday

Madison, NJ. "We've been waiting for this game for a long time," stated Marsha Blount, co-owner of the ABA Newark Express. "And now it's here and we believe it will be the beginning of one of the great rivalries in the ABA."
On Sunday, January 11th, the NYC Internationalz visit the Jersey Express at 3pm at Drew University (Baldwin Gymnasium) is the first of a series of games between these two high-powered ABA teams. Tip-off time is 3pm. Tickets are only $10 and are available on-line or at the door.
"We've been watching Southeast Texas and Texas, Maywood and Beijing, Kentucky and Nashville as they battle for supremacy in their divisions," added Ms. Blount. "These games should be the same type of fierce rivalry as we are both competing for higher rankings and good positions for the ABA playoffs. They're good. We're good. The fireworks start Sunday - and for the money - this has to be the best sports and entertainment value in the NY/NJ area. Get your tickets early."
