Jaxx OF Greg Halman placed on DL

JACKSON, TENN. (JUNE 16, 2009) - The Seattle Mariners have made the following roster move affecting the roster of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.

OF Greg Halman has been placed on the 7-Day DL retroactive to 6/13. Halman was 0-for-11 in the series against the Carolina Mudcats.

Also, RHP Steve Bray has been taken off the Short-A Everett roster and activated to the Diamond Jaxx roster.

The Diamond Jaxx have seven players now on the DL (OF Ezequiel Carrera, OF Greg Halman, INF Ronnie Prettyman, INF Carlos Triunfel, INF Mike Wilson, RHP Luis Pena and LHP Robert Rohrbaugh. Two on the temporarily inactive list, (LHP Nick Hill, C Colt Morton). The Jaxx are at the current roster amount of 24.
