Ja'Myrin Jackson Named NBLC Player of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Ja'Myrin Jackson of the Windsor Express has been named Player of the Week for the week ending February 12, 2023. This is the first Express player to receive Player of the Week honours this season.

Jackson, a 6'4" swingman who played collegiately at Lansing (Mich.) Community College, had a strong week for the Express, averaging 26.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg in two games; he also went 12-for-20 (.600) from 3-point range.

The National Basketball League of Canada would also like to extend honourable mention Player of the Week recognition to Armani Chaney of the TBL's Newfoundland Rogues.

In three road games, Chaney, a 5'10" point guard from Tennessee State, averaged 34 ppg and 5.3 rpg in three road games for the Rogues.
