The East Texas Pump Jacks know their fans are the best fans in the Texas Collegiate League, and that they have an insatiable thirst for all things Pump Jacks baseball.

Well, the Pump Jacks have the perfect thing to satisfy that thirst when the team returns to historic Driller Park tomorrow night: the second Thirsty Thursday of the summer! Fans who attend the Jacks' Thursday contest against the Victoria Generals will enjoy $1 draft beers and 50-cent soft drinks throughout the night. With the weather heating up in East Texas, why not spend a night with the Pump Jacks to quench your thirst?

But the fun is far from done.

On Friday night, the Pump Jacks will continue a tradition unlike any other in the city of Kilgore, with the first Fireworks Friday of their fifth anniversary season. Fans who join the Jacks as they battle the Generals are in for a special treat... after the game is over, the Pump Jacks will light up the night sky with a spectacular fireworks show, sponsored by 1st Choice Personnel and CBS-19.

The Pump Jacks are proud to be the only organization in the "City of Stars" to provide fireworks to the public, so don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a spectacle that is sure to be as exciting as the team on the field!

Every Fireworks Friday throughout the summer is unique, with each occasion featuring a different and unique soundtrack. Fans can help the Pump Jacks select the theme for this Friday's show by going online and visiting the Jacks' Facebook page. You can vote for three different soundtrack themes: summer vacation, cartoons on TV and in the movies, and a 1980's and 1990's throwback.

There is only a limited time left to vote, as the poll will close TOMORROW, June 21, at 9:00 a.m. Log on today to help make your Fireworks Friday experience your own!

The Pump Jacks are currently in first place in the TCL standings at 12-3 on the season. Head coach Ben Taylor's squad has won four games in a row to climb to the top of the league with hustle and heart, as they continue their quest for a TCL Championship in 2012.
