
Isotopes Claim Series-Opening Victory over Comets, 13-7

Oklahoma City, OK - With the Isotopes trailing, 4-1, entering the top of the fifth, the club scored 12 runs over the final five frames-including five in the eighth inning-to take the opening game of the set, 13-7, Tuesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Topes Scope: - With the win, the Isotopes have won three-straight games and 11 of their last 13 contests. The last time the club won 11 contests in a 13-game stretch was July 4-17, 2021.
-The Isotopes have won seven-straight road games, tied for the second-longest road winning streak in franchise history (also: April 9-25, 2008). The longest road winning streak stands at nine games from July 7-30, 2003.
-During the seven-game road winning streak, the Isotopes have scored 88 runs
-The club has scored double-digit runs in eight of their last 13 overall games. During the stretch, they're slashing .334/.422/.636 with 167 hits, 45 doubles, eight triples, 30 homers, 66 walks and 131 runs-the most in Triple-A (second: Oklahoma City, 107).
-Albuquerque won its 60th game of the year-the fastest the club has tallied 60 wins since 2013.
-The Isotopes went 5-for-16 with runners in scoring position and have tallied a 19-for-88 (.215) mark over their last seven games.
-Adael Amador went 3-for-6 with a double and RBI, his sixth three-hit game of the year and third in his last 12 contests. During that stretch, is slashing .308/.410/.654 with three doubles, five homers, nine walks and 12 RBI. Eight of his 32 extra-base hits have also come during the span.
-Charlie Condon went 1-for-5 with a triple, walk and RBI, his fourth-straight game with an RBI (five total). Has three extra-base hits in his last eight games, going 7-for-34 with two homers and a double. Has seven triples on the year, two of which have come on the road (other: July 1 at Round Rock).
Conner Capel went 3-for-5 with a double, triple, homer and two RBI, his second three-hit game with Albuquerque in 2026 (other: August 1 at El Paso). Since July 12, is slashing .309/.361/.545 with six doubles, two triples, one homer and 12 RBI. Was his first career game with at least one double, triple and homer in the same contests.
-Nic Kent went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and three RBI, his fourth game of the year with at least three RBI and second in his last six games (last: July 31 at El Paso, three). Over his last six games, is 7-for-21 with two doubles, two homers and eight RBI.
On Deck: The Isotopes and Comets meet for game two of the series tomorrow at 5:35 pm MT from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Albuquerque has not announced a starter while Emmet Sheehan is scheduled to take the hill for Oklahoma City.
