Ironworkers Partner with Local Brewery in Mount Vernon

Microbrewery Alternative Medicine Brewing Company has joined Rugby New York as the team's official local craft beer partner.
Rugby New York is proud to announce a multi-year partnership with Alternative Medicine Brewing Company ('AMBC") beginning this season. Their Juice Cleanse Hazy Double IPA craft beer will be available at the Memorial Field Stadium in Mount Vernon, NY, from March 19 when the Ironworkers take on the Free Jacks from New England.
"This is our first local partnership since we announced our new home ground in Mount Vernon at the end of 2022," said Ric Salizzo, CEO of Rugby New York. "Community is a big part of who we are here at Rugby New York, and we look forward to providing a local spotlight on AMBC during this season and beyond," said Salizzo.
The brewery will also create an exclusive Rugby New York-branded craft beer - a unique rye ale made with state-grown grown ingredients - which will be sold at Memorial Field and AMBC's taproom in the coming months.
AMBC's Founder and President, Jordan M. Hahn, said significant synergies between the two brands would make for a strategic partnership in the City of Mount Vernon, NY. "We're delighted to partner with Rugby New York and look forward to enhancing the game-day experience for Ironworker fans, both in the stadium or at our brewery," Hahn said.
Rugby New York would like to encourage fans planning to attend games to visit AMBC's taproom, which is part official home game fan trail pre- and post-games. The taproom is at 29 Elm Avenue, Suite 1A, Mount Vernon, NY, with the main entrance across the street from 7 Portugal Place and about 100ft from the Mount Vernon East Metro North Station.
