The IronPigs (14-22) play Game Three of a four-game series against the Gwinnett Braves (19-19) -- the Atlanta Braves' affiliate. With a 3-2 loss to the Braves yesterday, the 'Pigs now have a season-long seven-game losing streak -- and have started 0-2 on eight-game, nine-day South Division homestand... Gwinnett previously split a four-game series with Buffalo at Coca-Cola Field. The Braves are now 8-4 in their last 12 games and 14-7 since starting 5-12 (4/25).

LHP Jake Woods (2-0, 4.03) will make his second start of the season for the IronPigs against RHP Charlie Morton (4-2, 3.07).

First-Pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. for Plunger Night, presented by Mr. Rooter / Agentis Plumbing.

REHABS:

LHP J.C. Romero starts a ML rehab assignment with the 'Pigs tonight -- as he has 16 games to prepare for his return from a 50-game suspension for violating MLB's Banned Substance Policy. He was suspended 1/6/09. Other notable rehabs at Coca-Cola Park: OF Shane Victorino (4/26-4/27/08), RHP Rudy Seanez (8/11/08), C Carlos Ruiz (4/25-5/1); Boston's RHP Daisuke Matsuzaka (6/16/08) & SS Julio Lugo (4/24-4/26/09); Detroit's LHP Dontrelle Willis (5/1/09). All ML rehab assignments at CCP are presented by Good Shephard Rehabilitation Network.

SAY IT AIN'T SO, CERVI!:

After starting in the first 35 G (reaching safely in 33), INF Mike Cervenak was placed on the D.L. today with a right wrist fracture (HBP, Tommy Hanson on Saturday night) -- and a time-table for his return is not yet know. The IronPigs are 8-21 (.276) when he has been out of the lineup in 2008-09. He is batting ..326-3-23 this season.
