Ironmen and Turf City Present a Special Holiday Camp

Newark, N.J. (Thursday, December 18, 2008) - The New Jersey Ironmen are pleased to announce that they are partnering with Turf City, the official practice facility of the second-year club, to conduct a special holiday soccer camp. Scheduled for December 29-31, the three-day clinic will be instructed by players and coaches from the Ironmen staff.
"This camp is in line with our summer program," Ironmen Head Coach Omid Namazi stated. "This camp presents the perfect opportunity to give back to the community that supports us and will also give kids the chance to learn from professional soccer players."
The three-day camp will be conducted at Turf City in Wayne and is slated to run from Monday, December 29th, until Wednesday, December 31st. Training sessions are from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with two separate levels available. The first camp is for elite goalkeepers and strikers in the U12 and older age group that also participate on a travel club. The cost for the three-day session is $145 with limited space available. The second camp is focused upon general soccer skills for 5-10 year-old players with a reduced cost of $125 per player. Space is also limited in the general skills training.
All participants of the New Jersey Ironmen Holiday Soccer Camp at Turf City will receive a t-shirt, Ironmen soccer ball and a ticket voucher to a game at Prudential Center.
The New Jersey Ironmen are charter members of the Xtreme Soccer League and will return home to the friendly confines of Prudential Center on Friday, January 9th, when they host the Detroit Ignition at 7:30 p.m.
