Iron Announce Free Agent Camp

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Iron of the new Arena Football 1 League will hold its only West Coast Free Agent Football Camp on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 6800 E Russell Rd, Silver Bowl Park, across from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, NV 89108.
Registration will begin at 9.00 am; tryout at 10.00 am. The Iron staff will conduct the camp. This camp has limited space so it is highly recommended that you pre-register by calling 425-244-6950 before Friday January 29, 2010 as spaces are filling up. A pre-registration fee of $50.00 will be charged and must be paid in cash during registration. A fee of $65.00 will be charged for all walk-ups (space permitting). You must be 18 years and older by January 29, 2010. Proper photo ID such as a valid driver's license will be needed. Directions are available at www.google.com or www.mapquest.com.
"This is a great opportunity for us to look at players in this area," said Bob Landsee, Head Coach of the Iron. "We can never tell where we will find the next great player."
All participants will be required to sign a waiver and fill out a registration form before beginning any part of the workout. These forms will be available at the registration desk. Participants should be prepared to complete any drills that are done at professional football combines or tryouts including but not limited to short shuttle, 40-yard dash, one-on-one, three-on-three drills, etc. The tryout will be held outdoors on a grass surface, so you need to bring appropriate clothing and shoes (football cleats). You should also bring your own mouthpiece.
Coaches from other football leagues will also be on hand evaluating talent.
The Milwaukee Iron has ascended to the highest level of Arena Football as a member of Arena Football One. Downtown Milwaukee and the Bradley Center will come alive in 2010 as the Iron host legendary Arena Football League opponents such as the Arizona Rattlers, Cleveland Gladiators, Iowa Barnstormers, Orlando Predators, Utah Blaze and more.
