Iron And Coors Light Renew Partnership

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Iron Arena Football team and Beer Capitol, Inc. have agreed to continue their corporate partnership through the 2010 Arena Football season. The new agreement calls for Coors Light to be named the "Official Malt Beverage of the Milwaukee Iron" as well as a number of additional marketing components.
"Coors Light and Beer Capitol are fabulous partners and we are proud to continue our marketing relationship with them for the 2010 season," said Jason Clark, Vice President and General Manager of the Iron. "With all of the positive changes happening in Arena Football and the Milwaukee Iron, it is great for us to be able to bring Coors Light with us as we begin to move into the national spotlight. In addition, there are some exciting new Coors Light elements in this year's partnership that will truly deliver an Arena Football flair. I think our fans will really enjoy the experience."
In addition to Coors Light to be named the "Official Malt Beverage of the Milwaukee Iron" the renewed partnership includes other marketing highlights such as the official sponsor for all Iron kick-offs, Coors Light turf signage on the playing field and special "Coors Light Cold Activated Bottle" down and distance marker signage.
"Coors Light and Beer Capitol are extremely excited to be teaming up with the Milwaukee Iron for the second straight year. We know that the Milwaukee Iron organization has made huge strides in the off season for continuous improvement," stated Mike Merriman, President of Beer Capitol. "One specific example is the Iron's new web site (www.mkeiron.com). We look forward to seeing the Bradley Center rocking for the home opener on April 16th versus the Iowa Barnstormers and throughout the season."
The Milwaukee Iron has ascended to the highest level of Arena Football as a member of Arena Football One. Downtown Milwaukee and the Bradley Center will come alive in 2010 as the Iron host legendary Arena Football League opponents such as the Arizona Rattlers, Cleveland Gladiators, Iowa Barnstormers, Orlando Predators, Tampa Bay Storm, Utah Blaze and more.
