MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Iron announced today that it has hired Mike Kennedy as the Director of Media Services. Kennedy will handle all media aspects for the Iron and will be the main contact for team and front office media inquires and game-day media requests.
After spending the last year with the Minnesota Twins in the media relations department, Kennedy brings professional sports public and media relations experience from Major League Baseball to the Iron as well as playoff experience when he worked for the Twins during the American League Division Series. Prior to the Twins, Kennedy worked as a media relations and marketing contact for Potawatomi Racing, a racing program operated by the Potawatomi Tribe of northern Wisconsin, as well as a media relations and journalism intern for the Leesburg Lightning of the Florida Collegiate Summer Baseball League.
Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he earned his degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. While at UW-Milwaukee he worked as the sports editor at the UWM Post, the on-campus student-run independent newspaper.

The Milwaukee Iron have ascended to the highest level of Arena Football as a member of Arena Football One!
