INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Iowa Cubs (44-64) were walked off in the ninth inning by a 3-2 score by the Indianapolis Indians (54-57) tonight at Victory Field.
The I-Cubs got on the board first in the second inning as Jordan Nwogu drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Indianapolis scored two runs in the seventh to take a 2-1 lead.
In the eighth, Owen Miller drove in the tying run with a single, but in the ninth, Indianapolis singled home a run to secure the 3-2 win.
Iowa will play at Indianapolis on Friday for the fourth of a six-game series with first pitch slated for 6:05 p.m. CT.
