Individual awards to be announced live on ESPNews

New York - The AFL's individual 2006 awards will be announced live on ESPNews, the 24-hour sports news channel.
Beginning Monday, May 22 with AFL Kicker of the Year and concluding on Wednesday, June 7 with the Al Lucas Hero Award, ESPNews will announce each winner live followed by commentary, highlights and an interview with each player or coach.
The winners will be announced during the ESPNews' program, "Hot List," which airs from 3-6 p.m. ET. Specific times will vary, but will be determined the day prior to the announcement.
Following is the announcement schedule for the 2006 AFL awards:
