
Indianapolis Drive Off And Running

Indianapolis Drive News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The ABA Indianapolis Drive professional basketball team that begins play in November has officially begun its basketball operation. According to Tim Hicks, CEO of Indianapolis Drive Sports and Entertainment LLC, the team owner, "We're very excited about the progress we are making. We've added Kirk Sundstrom from Indiana University as part of our marketing team and also Allan Zukerman, the CEO of MZD, one of the state's largest ad agencies, is serving as a team advisor and helping in our marketing."
The Drive has recently signed two outstanding local players, Nick Barton and Ernest Vickers, both of whom will be assisting in sales, marketing and community relations,. The team's first tryout will be September 18th at Roncalli High School from 1-330pm. "We will be local and we will be competitive," added Hicks.
