Indianapolis Drive Announce Tryout Camp

Indianapolis, IN. Indiana's newest professional basketball team, the ABA Indianapolis DRIVE will hold their first official tryout Saturday, Octboer 9th at the Roncalli High School "Bubble," 3300 Prague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227. The Indianapolis DRIVe will join more than 60 teams for its inaugural season starting in December.

A pre-registration fee of $50 is available on or before Thursday, October 7th by emailing info@theindydrive.com or calling 317 927 1777. Applicants can also register the day of tryouts between 12:30 and 1:30pm on location. Payments are to be made by money order, cashier's check or cash on the day of tryouts. A valid ID is required upon entry.

The first game for the Indianapolis DRIVE is scheduled for December 3rd against the Seattle Mountaineers. The DRIVE is proud to have Imagine Indiana Life Sciences Academy West, 4950 West 34th St, Indianapolis, IN as its home venue this season. "We will be local, we will be competitive, you can bank on that," stated Indianapolis DRIVE owner, Tim Hicks.

Open tryouts to fill the 15 contracted player spots take place on October 9th. Registration will start at 1230pm and tryouts will begin at 130pm. Potential players must be at least 18 years of age by the tryout date and be able to provide proof of high school graduation or equivilent.
