Independence Announce 2020 Preseason Schedule

Charlotte (NC) - On Wednesday, the Charlotte Independence professional soccer team announced five preseason games in preparation of the 2020 USL Championship regular season. Dates and venues are subject to change or cancelation. Additional preseason matches may be added at a later date. Further details regarding public access to the games will be provided at a later date.

2020 Charlotte Independence Preseason Schedule

Preseason game #1: Wednesday, February 12th, 5:00 PM - at Tormenta FC (Columbia, S.C.)

Preseason game #2: Saturday, February 15th, 2:00 PM - vs. North Carolina FC (Sportsplex at Matthews)

Preseason game #3: Wednesday, February 19th, 11:00 AM - vs. Stumptown Athletic (Sportsplex at Matthews)

Preseason game #4: Saturday, February 22nd, 7:00 PM - at Greenville Triumph SC (TBD)

Preseason game #5: Saturday, February 15th, 2:00 PM - at Atlanta United (Children's HealthCare of Atlanta Training Ground)

The Charlotte Independence will open the 2020 USL Championship season at Sporting Kansas City II on Sunday, March 8th. The Independence will open the 2020 home schedule the following weekend on Saturday, March 14th against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
