MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact signed a 3-2 win against the Puerto Rico Islanders, in the first quarter-final series game, on Friday, in front of 10,217 spectators at Claude-Robillard Sports Complex
NOTES: - Mauricio Vincello scored twice, in addition to collecting an assist on forward Roberto Brown's goal. - It was the first time in Impact playoff history (34 games) that five goals were scored during one half in a playoff match. - The second and decisive game of the home and away series on aggregate goals will be on Sunday, at 6:00 pm, in Puerto Rico.
