Impact-Suzuki Public Practices Return

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced Tuesday the 2011 schedule for its promotional activities within the greater Montreal region. Throughout the summer, the Impact will offer six training sessions open to the public, presented by Suzuki in collaboration with Sports Experts, and participate in the Uniprix tournament tour.

The Impact will begin its public practices tour at Parc Lucie-Bruneau, in Anjou, on Wednesday, June 15. It will be followed by visits at Parc Pierre-Laporte, in St-Hubert (June 21), at Centre Sportif George Springate, in Pierrefonds (July 6), at Parc Horizon, in Le Gardeur (July 27), at the Polyvalente Hyacinthe-Delorme, in Ste-Hyacinthe (Aug. 2) and at Parc des Bénévoles, in Kirkland (Aug. 16).

Each Impact-Suzuki public practice starts at 7 pm. All the players, coaches, and training staff will be on site for this event, including the club mascot Tac-Tik. Fans in attendance will have the chance to win some great door prizes and may partake in an autograph session after the practice.

The Impact will also continue its participation in the Uniprix tournament tour. Impact players will be on site at the spring FC Challenger in Mirabel, on June 11, at the Défi 3 vs 3 in Pierrefonds, on July 9, at the Challenge de Brossard, on July 30, and at the Tournoi national Mario Robitaille, in Granby, on August 13.
