Montreal Impact News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced Tuesday that its Fall 12-week intensive program will be offered in Repentigny, at Gilles-Tremblay Sports Complex, from October 24 to January 30, 2011.
The program, which is offered to young players aged 6 to 14, is given by Impact and Academy players. The program is developed by Mauro Biello, Montreal Impact assistant coach and Director of the Soccer Schools. Each session will help the kids improve their technique, while offering an introduction to game tactics.
"We are glad to offer to our young fans in the Lanaudière region the possibility to train with us," said Mauro Biello. "As we have seen throughout the province, there is real excitement for our club. This is a unique opportunity for young soccer players, while giving them the opportunity to continue playing through fall and winter. We are proud to contribute to their development."
This program is also available at Leonardo Da Vinci Centre (Saint-Leonard) and at Vanier College (Saint-Laurent). A few spots are still available.
A program for goalkeepers, developed by Youssef Dahha, the Montreal Impact goalkeeper coach, will also be available in Repentigny, this fall.
