
IHL Announces Turner Cup Tour

ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Thursday that the new Turner Cup and redesigned Huber Trophy will be making a six city tour beginning Friday, April 4th in Port Huron. Each member club will get an opportunity to showcase the Turner Cup and Huber Trophy in front of their fans, letting everyone get a glimpse of the new hardware before the 2008 Turner Cup Playoffs arrive.
The tour dates are as follows:
Friday, April 4th- Port Huron, Michigan- IHL Game #213- Muskegon @ Port Huron, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 5th- Flint, Michigan- IHL Game #216- Bloomington @ Flint, 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 6th- Bloomington, Illinois- IHL Game #218- Kalamazoo @ Bloomington, 4:05 p.m.
Friday, April 11th- Muskegon, Michigan- IHL Game #224- Bloomington @ Muskegon, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 12th- Kalamazoo, Michigan- IHL Game #227- Port Huron @ Kalamazoo, 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 13th- Fort Wayne, Indiana- IHL Game #225- Flint @ Fort Wayne, 5:00 p.m.
*Note: All times are local
The Huber Trophy will be presented to the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday, April 13th. Fort Wayne clinched the IHL regular season championship on back on March 15th with a shootout victory over the Flint Generals.
