The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Week 5 Vidswap.com Players of the Week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mulku Kalokoh (RB. Bemidji Axemen)

A week after earning IFL Special Teams Player of the Week Honors, Bemidji Axemen RB Mulku Kalokoh followed up his performance with a fantastic game vs. Green Bay and has earned Offensive Player of the Week honors. Down by five and with no time remaining against the Blizzard, Kalokoh caught the game-winning touchdown pass from QB E.J. White and proved to be the difference maker in the game. Kalokoh finished the game with five total touchdowns including a 24 carry rushing performance for 109 yards and three touchdowns. In addition, he had three receptions for 20 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winning touchdown reception. Kalokoh finished the game with a league-high 246 all-purpose yards. In just two weeks as a starter, Kalokoh has zoomed to the near the top of the league in all-purpose yards with 491. Kalokoh will look to continue his streak of outstanding performances as the Bemidji Axemen travel to take on the Wichita Falls Nighthawks this weekend.

Honorable Mention: Waymon James (RB. Nebraska Danger), Houston Lillard (QB, Tri-Cities Fever), Robbie Nallenweg (QB, Iowa Barnstormers), Steven Whitehead (WR, Tri-Cities Fever)

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Harcourt Farquharson (DB, Nebraska Danger)

After defeating the Iowa Barnstormers 76-50 last week, the Nebraska Danger have started 4-0 for the first time in franchise history. Nebraska allowed Iowa to build a 26-14 first quarter lead but the Danger defense later stiffened due to the play of DB Harcourt Farquharson. Farquharson tallied nine tackles and two pass breakups but most importantly had two interceptions that helped turn the tide of the game. Farquharson became the third player in the IFL to pick off two passes in a single game this season, behind teammate Jamar Love and Cedar Rapids Titans DB Arius Wright. The Nebraska Danger travel to play division rivals the Tri-Cities Fever this week.

Honorable Mention: James Ackel (DB, Wichita Falls Nighthawks), Eze Obiora (DL, Sioux Falls Storm), Jermiah Price (DL, Cedar Rapids Titans), Daryl Robinson (DB, Green Bay Blizzard)

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brian Jackson (K, Tri-Cities Fever)

In his first game with the Fever this season, kicker Brian Jackson earned Specials Teams Player of the Week. In Week 5 the Fever traveled to Wichita Falls, TX and returned home with a 58-48 victory. Jackson, a long time indoor/arena veteran, was perfect for the game converting on all three of his field goal attempts (long of 51-yards) and all 7 PATs for a total of 16 points. The Fever have evened their record to 2-2 and will host the Intense Conference leading Nebraska Danger this weekend.
