IFL readies for 2007
Published on January 16, 2007 under Intense Football League (Intense) News Release
Katy, Texas: The Intense Football League set out to create a stable league of indoor professional football that would impress fans and promote players to higher levels when it was created 4 years ago. With the conclusion of the 2007 spring meetings, team owners, coaches, and executives all left Katy feeling like these goals are continually being accomplished.
After three days full of intense meetings, and a couple of enjoyable evenings, the IFL has fine tuned it's rule book, updated the leagues operational handbook, and strengthened relationships between each of the teams. "Each owner, coach, and executive seems to now be even more enthusiastic about the upcoming season", stated league president Chad Dittman, "It was a great time of sharing and everyone seems to have learned a lot." Guest speakers also participated including executives from the Houston Texans, the Houston Chronicle, and more.
The 14 game IFL season kicks off in April with teams participating from Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska. For further information, please contact Tommy Benizio at (432) 332-7277 or log onto the leagues web site at www.IntenseFootballLeague.net.
