Richmond, VA: IFL is proud to be working in conjunction with the Colorado Ice and Linebacker Ryan Palmer (#51) for a weekly blog entitled "A Day In The Life...". Ryan will share with fans everything from what game days are like, to what him and his teammates do off the field of battle.
"We are excited to have someone of Ryan's caliber giving our great fans an inside look at what it is like to be a player in the Indoor Football League", said new Director of Communications Mike Clark.
Palmer was born on December 7, 1981 in Wheatridge, Colorado. After starring at Arvada West High School he went on to play four years at the University of Northern Colorado at middle linebacker. He joined the Ice, formally of United Indoor Football, in 2007 where he quickly became a mainstay on the Colorado Defensive unit. In 2007 and 2008 Palmer was named to the UIF All-Star team after finishing both years amongst the top of the league in tackles. This season, Palmer has continued his relentless assault on opposing offences. Through the team's first six games, he has recorded 37 tackles, 2 sacks, and returned an interception for a touchdown.
