
IFL Announces Most Improved Player and Adam Pringle Awards

The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Most Improved Player and Adam Pringle Man of the Year Awards for the 2018 season.
Most Improved Award: Lyle McCombs (RB, Sioux Falls Storm)
Sioux Falls Storm RB Lyle McCombs has been named the Most Improved Player of the 2018 season. After missing the entirety of the 2017 season due to injury, McCombs returned to the field in 2018 and helped guide the Storm to an 11-3 record and a United Bowl appearance.
Starting in every game this season, McCombs ranked fourth in the IFL in rushing yards (437) and rushing touchdowns (15). McCombs was not only a threat as running back as he accumulated 1,020 all-purpose yards and ranked third on the Storm in receiving yards (308).
At the end of the season, McCombs was named as the Second Team All-IFL RB.
Adam Pringle Award: Michael Georgetti (K, Cedar Rapids Titans)
Cedar Rapids Titans K Michael Georgetti is the recipient of the 2018 Adam Pringle Man of the Year Award. The award, named after a very influential and highly respected member of the former West Michigan Thunderhawks, is given to the player or coach who exemplified outstanding service and dedication to their surrounding community.
Georgetti is an ambassador for the Anti-Bully Squad, a non-profit organization that brings awareness to bullying and offers hope to those who have been bullied. During the 2018 season, Georgetti helped raise awareness for the organization through a variety of ways including community service, giveaways, ticket offers and more.
The remaining IFL Individual Awards will be released according to the following schedule.
Tuesday, July 3 - Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year
Wednesday, July 4 - Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Year
Thursday, July 5 - IFL MVP and Coach of the Year
The 2018 United Bowl Championship kicks off on Saturday, July 7 at 7:05 PM at the Wells Fargo Arena between the Iowa Barnstormers and the Sioux Falls Storm. The 2018 United Bowl can be viewed live on the IFL's YouTube channel!
