Corpus Christi, Texas: The Intense Football League would like to recognize the efforts of two of its former standout players, who have made the step into the Arena Football League. Saturday's AFL game between the Dallas Desperados and the Georgia Force fielded Anthony Armstrong and Brent Holmes. "The IFL was formed to promote promising athletes to play at the highest level of professional football possible," stated IFL Director of Communications Robert Winfrey. "Having these players perform this well will open the doors for more of our players in the future."

Anthony Armstrong, who played for the Odessa Roughnecks in 2006, caught 12 passes for 138 yards and 2 Td's for the Dallas Desperados this past Saturday. For the Roughnecks, Anthony finished third on the team with 55 catches for 760 yards and 22 TD's. He also returned 7 kickoffs for 166 yards, with 1 Td.
