Port Huron Icehawks News Release
PORT HURON, MI - Fans of the Port Huron Icehawks are invited to join the team on the ice following this Sunday's game with the Flint Generals at 5 p.m. The entire team will be available to meet with fans of all ages and sign autographs at this Skate With the Players Event.
Skate or walk onto the ice and meet all your favorite players. Anyone participating in the event must sign a waiver prior to getting on the ice. Waivers will be available in the West Upper section of the arena throughout the game.
"We're always looking to get fans as close to the team as possible and Skate With the Players events have always been a great way to do that," Icehawks Director of Operations Jacob Wesolek said. "It is a great way to meet all your favorite players and go home with a collection of autographs."
The Under the Ice Lounge will be closed after the game because of this event, but will be open prior to the game and throughout the contest. Pompeii's Pizzeria and Italian Eatery will cater and a full bar will be open for business.
The lounge is located below the theater at McMorran Place and will open at 3:30 p.m. Enter through the season ticket holder door on the southeast side of the arena. Gates for the game will open at 4 p.m. for the 5 p.m. start.
The Icehawks play in Flint at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday before hosting the Generals at McMorran Arena on Sunday.
