
IceDiggers sign Ryan King for 2006-2007 season

Alpena IceDiggers News Release
The Alpena IceDiggers have signed Ryan King for the 2006-2007 season. King played in Philadelphia for the Jr. Flyers AAA program. The 6'0" 195 lbs right winger played in 24 league games scoring 11 goals and adding 7 helpers. The York PA native is a senior at York Suburban High School.
"To be able to add a player like Ryan will give us more grit up front and we believe Ryan will add a scoring touch for us while giving us the type of defensive forward our team need's in our own end." Said Head Coach Kenny Miller.
King is the third player tendered for the upcoming 06-07 season, he joins Chad Billins (Marysville MI) and Tony Dischler (Madison WI) who signed with Alpena for next season's campaign.
