IceDiggers announce tryout dates and times

Alpena IceDiggers News Release


Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers announced today that tryouts for next week will be open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend the 3 day open camp as well as the 3 day main camp. The entire staff is very excited about the talent pool that will arrive in Alpena on Wednesday, July 26. "I am confident this camp will be one of if not the best tryout camp we have ever had." Said Head Coach Kenny Miller.

Veteran players that will be in camp from last years team include Todd Rudasill, Chris Lanciano, Ben Kitzmiller, Korey O'Brien, Ricardo Yesue, Erik Peterson, Drew Pierson, Chris Hendrickson, Zach Barron, Justin Stadler, Eric Roman, Chad Billins, Artur Kret, Nolan Craner, Jeff Miller and Peter O'Hara these players along with the players Coach Miller tendered and drafted will be among the 70 to 80 players looking to fill out the 25 man roster for the upcoming season. Former IceDigger Ross Enmark (Curry College) will also play during the open camp.

The camp schedule is listed below. Be sure to come out and show your support for the many young men looking to call Alpena their home for the 2006-2007 season.
