PRACTICE SCHEDULE: The Ice practices Tuesday-Friday at the Pepsi Coliseum from 2:45-4:45 p.m.
"COLD AS ICE" ON OPENING NIGHT: The Indiana Ice makes its United States Hockey League home debut this Saturday night when the team battles the Waterloo Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum. Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm will be on hand for a post-game concert and sing such legendary hits like "Hot Blooded," "Head Games," "Feels Like the First Time" and "Juke Box Hero." The night will also feature a pre-game party at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Pepsi Coliseum which will include clowns, face painters and games for kids. Food and beverages will be available.
SHADES OF WINTER: Ice forward Travis Winter made a strong first impression the last two weekends as he scored a goal in all three road contests. The second-year forward out of St. Cloud, MN scored the game-winning goal against Chicago in the team's season opener (9/25) and currently leads the Ice in points (4), goals (3) and plus/minus (+3).
MULTIPLE MAGIC: Ice forward Ryan Peckskamp had the team's first multiple goal game of the season this past Saturday night, as he scored the first two Ice goals of the night in a time frame of four minutes and 33 seconds. Peckskamp's second goal of the night is the team's lone power-play goal of the season.
TEAM FIRSTS: The Ice won its first game in team franchise history Sept. 25th against the Chicago Steel...The team's first goal of the season and first penalty were by Todd McIlrath...The club's first assist was awarded to defenseman A.J. Panchenko...Indy's first save and first win in net were picked up by goaltender B.J. O'Brien in the Chicago win.
PLAYER NOTES: Defenseman Mike Beck leads the team in penalty minutes (17)...B.J. O'Brien leads Ice goaltenders with a 1-1-0 record, 3.01 GAA, and a .906 save percentage this season...Beck and Sam Kelly combined for 29 penalty minutes in Saturday's game against Sioux City.
TEAM NOTES: The Ice was 1-15 (6.67%) on the power play in its first three games... The Ice killed off 18 of 21 penalties in its first three games (85.7%)...The team has given up two empty-net goals in the last two games... The Ice and Cedar Rapids are the only two teams that have yet to play a home game this season...Waterloo comes to town this weekend and has been led in scoring by forward Corey Quirk (2G,1A) and in goaltending by Drew O'Connell with a 1-0-0 record, 2.00 GAA, and a .931 save percentage.

ICE STEELS FRANCHISE'S FIRST VICTORY 3-2
* Todd MacIlrath, Eddie Del Grosso, and Travis Winter registered a goal apiece in a 3-2 Ice victory over the Chicago Steel. Goaltender B.J. O'Brien was credited with the team's first franchise victory after saving 34 shots in the win.
* STAMPEDE RUNS BY ICE 4-2
* Travis Winter and Colin Vock each scored a goal for the Ice, but it wasn't enough as Sioux Falls picked up a 4-2 victory. Goaltender Jake Maida had 21 saves between the pipes for Indy in the contest.
* ICE LOSES DUEL WITH MUSKETEERS 5-3
* Ryan Peckskamp (2G) and Travis Winter (G,A) led the Ice offensive attack, but the club was outdone by Sioux City in a 5-3 loss Saturday night. Forwards Dennis McCauley and Kent Bostrom both tallied two goals apiece in the win for Sioux City. Netminder B.J. O'Brien made 24 saves in the game for the Icemen.
