
Ice Set to Close Regular Season Home Schedule Friday

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice continue their pursuit of the team's first Anderson Cup Championship this Friday as they host the Green Bay Gamblers on "Hockey for Heart Night," presented by St.Vincent Heart Center, from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The puck is set to drop for the 2013-14 regular season home closer at 7:05 pm.
The reigning Eastern Conference regular-season champions are coming off their most dominating win of the season after dropping the Dubuque Fighting Saints 9-1 on Wednesday from Pan Am Pavilion. Scott Conway (4G, A) logged the franchise's first four-goal game while he and Dwyer Tschantz (G, 4A) both matched team highs with five-point nights. Jacob Pritchard (G, 3A), Brian Pinho (G, 2A), Patrick Newell (3A) and Aidan Muir (G, A) also recorded multiple points in the contest.
Friday's contest marks the fourth and final time the teams will meet this season with Indy controlling a 2-0-1 record through three games. Jason Pawloski stole the show in their last meeting with a 32-save performance in the 2-0 clean sheet win. Pinho is the top points-getter with five assists across three games while Pritchard (3G, A) and Alex Talcott (2G, 2A) closely trail with four points each.
Indy is currently tied with the Waterloo Black Hawks for the squad's first Anderson Cup Championship with both teams having two regular-season games remaining. The Anderson Cup is awarded by the USHL to the team with the most standings points at the end of the regular season.
