Toledo Royal Knights News Release
Toledo, OH. The ABA Toledo Ice professional basketball team has partnered with the Toledo Library and its local branches for the "Rebound for Reading" program. With this program, the Ice players, dance team and mascot will read for the children at the libraries. The program also involves contests such as who reads the most books and for the best essay on the topic of the month. This will be a great experience for the team and for the children at the library. The program is one of many community service programs being developed by the team which begins play in November. For more information, visit www.toledoicebasketball.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
