Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice announced today that the team has acquired right winger Jason Wiley from the Green Bay Gamblers for future considerations.
Wiley was in camp with the Gamblers and played one game for Green Bay at the Buc Bowl, notching an assist and two penalty minutes. He played last season for Bloomington Kennedy High School in Bloomington, MN and posted 24 goals and 19 assists.
"We're excited to add a player like Jason to our line-up," said Ice General Manager Josh Mervis. "Historically, he has been a talented offensive player so hopefully he can continue that trend here in Indianapolis."
Wiley is expected to arrive this week and be in uniform when the team travels to Bensenville, IL on Saturday for the regular season opener against the Chicago Steel.
