FINALS REDUX: The Ice and Force split the weekend series from Pepsi Coliseum with Indiana capturing a 6-3 win on Friday and Fargo coming back for a 6-5 victory on Saturday. Kevin Goumas led the Ice on Friday with a pair of goals, while Shane Berschbach handed out three assists. On Saturday, Nic Dowd registered three points (G, 2A), while Antti Roppo lit the lamp twice.

WELCOME BACK COMMITTEE: Indy's four-player U.S. Junior Select Team contingent of Shane Berschbach, Nic Dowd, John Parker and Nick Mattson made their presence known in the Fargo series as the foursome erupted for 14 points (5G, 9A) in the two-game set with the Force. Berschbach (G, 4A) and Dowd (2G, 3A) amassed five points apiece, while Mattson (G, A) and Parker (G, A) both had two-point weekends.

"TEEMU" OF THE ICE: Antti Roppo is quickly becoming the "Teemu Selanne" of the Ice as the Finnish winger leads the club with seven goals which includes three multiple goal games. Selanne, who is a native of Helsinki, Finland, is a future NHL Hall of Famer and is playing in his 17th NHL season this year with the Anaheim Ducks. Entering this week's play, he is also just 12 goals shy of 600 for his NHL career.

AROUND THE ICE VINE: Cab Morris is 3-0-0 with a 1.33 GAA and a.947 SV% in three starts at Pepsi Coliseum...Kevin Goumas has three points (2G, A) in his last two games....Berschbach and Dowd lead all Ice players with two games of three-or-more points....Dowd is also the top scorer on Indy with 11 points (3G, 8A)...Nick Bailen leads Indiana in special teams production with six power play points (PPG, 5PPA).

TEAM NETTINGS: The Ice lost for the first time at home on Saturday (4-1-0)....Indiana is 5-1-0 against the East Division...Despite allowing four power play goals on the weekend, the Ice is still the top penalty killing unit in the USHL (50/59, 84.7%)...The Ice is 5-0-0 when outshooting their opponent.

ALUMNI PLAUDITS: Mike Hull-Army (2005-07) scored the game-winner in the victory over American International....Brandon Richardson-UNO (2008-09) recorded three points (G, 2A) in a weekend sweep of Lake Superior State...Ben Blood-North Dakota (2007-08) handed out two assists in the 4-2 win over St. Cloud Friday...Aaron Bendickson-Wisconsin (2005-06) scored twice in Friday's 5-1 win over Anchorage...Paul Carey-Boston College (2007-08) had a goal and an assist in the 7-1 win over Vermont over the weekend.
